Installation
Our facilities here at Romany now boast a stunning showroom, where a member or our friendly knowledgeable staff will show you the different granites available. Due to the natural variations of granite, we recommend and encourage you to pick your own slabs, giving full control of the colour and styles of your kitchen worktop.

Our state of the art production factory contains all the equipment to transform a slab of granite into a fully fitted and polished granite worktop. Our highly skilled workforce is qualified to produce the finest granite worktops available anywhere.
Typical process includes:
- Template taken
- Granite cut
- Edges polished
- CNC machine deployed to cut out sinks, drains etc
- Overhead cranes to move slabs to machines ensuring speed and minimal breakages
- Drainer grooves cut
Things to be aware of prior to installation:
After you have fitted your kitchen, we can only come out to do a template when all the base units are permanently in place
If it is an existing kitchen, we can template over existing worktops.
We do not remove existing worktops, plumb in sinks, nor install hobs etc
It is then that the cutting of the material can begin and your surfaces will be installed normally within seven days.
During the installation due to extreme weight and difficult handling of the material breakages do occasionally occur.
Such pieces are re-cut and brought to the site as a matter of high priority.
